I have been connecting to the other side since I was a young girl. In fact, Janet and I encountered our first spirit on the same day. I was about 4 and Janet was 6. This is a photo of us at about the age of our first sighting.

Janet saw our dead grandfather in our garage, twice. I will never forget her face when she came into the room where my mother was ironing. She was terrified. Later that evening I saw our grandfather when I was in bed and I too was shaken. Understandably... We were toddlers. As time passed and we grew older, we spent our adolescence seeing and feeling a spiritual world we knew existed but couldn’t name or describe. And despite being bewildered and fascinated by it, and awed by it, sharing this world created a special bond that went far beyond being sisters. We knew we were connected. We sensed it and we felt it. We still do.

Janet and I led very different lives. While she was blazing spiritual trails as a former nun I was blazing trails on Wall Street.

In 1979 I started my career on Wall Street as a clerk on the New York Cotton Exchange working for Dean Witter Reynolds. In 1980 took a job as a trading assistant at Shearson Loeb Rhoades and worked my way up the ladder to Corporate First VP and Chief Trader of precious metals at Shearson Lehman Bros. I took large proprietary positions for the firm in precious metals but primarily gold. I dealt with many central banks and leaders in the industry and I was one of the very few senior women running a trading desk in the 1980s.

I credit my success with my intuitiveness or my “gut” as some would call it. I saw many traders come and go but my instincts or signs from the other world were always there to guide me, to help me navigate the cut-throat world of office politics and high finance. I believe if one is fortunate enough to have them, one can use their gifts or sensitivity in everyday life to read the signs from the other side. I believe that and often tell people, "Your gut will never lie to you."

Once in the late 80s, a team of artificial intelligence researchers interviewed me in an effort to codify how I made money every day. I was senior enough to answer them candidly. I said, “I hear voices”. Funny, they abruptly got up and walked out. I doubt if they would do that now. If you think about it. The one thing that cannot be artificially replicated... is crossing over.

After my children went to school I found a job at Israel Sack, Inc. A preeminent art and antique dealer located in NYC. Possibly the finest in the world. I was Director of Operations all the while using my intuitive skills to get them out of a difficult financial situation. The firm was globally renowned for buying and selling masterpieces to museums, the White House and very high end collectors. I worked there for five years, resigning in 2001 - a week before 9/11. Was it chance or divine spirit guiding me out of NYC.

I have served on many boards including: The Washington Association of New Jersey - The first historic National Park in the United States. Maccalluch Hall Museum. The Morristown Club. Oldest Social Club in NJ - First woman president. Founder and treasurer of The North Jersey Revolutionary Round Table. I love history and am an avid hiker, cyclist and passionate gardener. I also have been practicing yoga for years.
